Public's top choices for new St. Petersburg Pier designs revealed

The people have spoken, and a concept titled Destination St. Pete Pier is the top pick for a new look for the embattled St. Petersburg Pier.

Voters were able to chose up to three designs in an online poll that was open from Feb. 23 through March 6. Railroad commissioners support lifting crude oil export ban

All three Texas Railroad Commissioners have stated their support for asking Congress to lift the federal ban on exporting crude oil.

The Texas House of Representatives held a joint meeting of their Energy Resources Committee and International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs Committee on Monday morning.

Raleigh firm to build 300-unit apartment complex in uptown Charlotte

Dominion Realty Partners, a Raleigh-based commercial real estate firm, is planning to develop an approximately 300-unit midrise apartment project on a vacant block in uptown Charlotte near Gateway Village.

Colorado Oil & Gas Association chief Tisha Schuller to step down

Tisha Schuller, president and CEO of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA), will step down as chief of the trade group at the end of May — 5-1/2 years after she took up the helm of one of the state’s most influential energy groups.

KU Hospital kicks off construction of $280M patient tower

The University of Kansas Hospital conducted groundbreaking ceremonies Monday as construction of the new $280 million Cambridge North Patient Tower kicked off at 39th and Cambridge streets, just northeast of the existing hospital buildings.
